In recent decades,with the rapid development of society,economy and culture,great increase of productivity,overall popularization of education,people are gradually far away from the age of shortage of resource.People are changing from meeting basic requirement of life to pursuing good quality of life.On the one hand,people's material condition is improving greatly;on the other hand,social rapid development will lead to increased life,work pressure,and unreleasable feelings of people.Therefore,in commercial space design,due to economic development,expectation for life,increasing life pressure,people will inevitably put forward higher requests:commercial space should meet people's demands of spirit,culture and feelings in addition to basic consumption function.Through visiting and investigating the commercial space,searching related information,the author finds that a large part of commercial space pursue luxurious and expensive interior design,and cost a lot of money.Commercial space has a good view and basic function,but experience process is not comfortable enough and some demands can not be met due to the lack of consideration for user's real need.The lack of humanization and emotion design of commercial space is an urgent problem to be solved in commercial space design today.This paper starts with the two parts of commercial space and emotional needs.Firstly,it clarifies the concept and related characteristics of feelings between commercial space and feelings.Then,it analyzes the relationship between this two parts,and researches the emotional application in commercial space from sensuality,function and culture separately.Finally,it will have a conclusion that how to design different commercial space from emotional perspective.This paper tries to be helpful to the research of emotional needs in commercial space design.
