The construction of modern urban gardens is pushed to the forefront of the problem by the expansion and development of the city.In order to solve the ecological problems brought about by the rapid development of the city,scholars in the landscape architecture propose a series of “sponge city”,“landscape city” and“park city”,Solution and apply to the actual.However,urban development brings not only ecological problems,but also the spiritual needs of residents living in cities.Urban residents living under fast-paced and high-pressure are in urgent need of relieving stress and releasing emotions.In the natural forests,it helps people to relieve their spirits and release stress.This is the fact that the ancients have been able to verify.The private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River incorporate urban and natural mountain forests into the park,not only to create a comfortable habitat,but also to satisfy the spiritual appeal of the owners.the south of the Yangtze River private gardens are an important part of Chinese traditional culture,and the excellent gardening techniques have a guiding role in the construction of modern urban gardens.I believe that modern urban gardens should also draw on the urban gardens,the excellent gardening techniques in the private gardens of the south of the Yangtze River,in order to solve the ecological problems while satisfying people's spiritual demands.Based on the gardening techniques of private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River,this paper mainly studies how to apply the gardening techniques of the south of the Yangtze River private gardens by referring to relevant literature,collecting and collating relevant materials,and analyzing related cases,combined with software mapping and other methods.In the design of urban parks,while being able to learn from and inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture,it can also meet the spiritual and ecological needs of urbanites.Based on the concept and origin of urban forests,this paper first concludes that urban forests and the south of the Yangtze River private gardens are equal.How to design the spiritual and cultural needs and ecological needs of urban people in modern urban parks,and to reproduce the urban forests,it is necessary to learn from the south of the Yangtze River private garden gardening techniques.Then through a detailed interpretation of the gardening techniques of private gardens in the south of theYangtze River: the density is appropriate,the twists and turns and the scenes in front of the scene,analyze their application in the garden;then analyze the difference between modern gardens and private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River,that modern gardens should have a choice It draws on the gardening techniques of private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River;it summarizes the research progress of predecessors and analyzes related cases.By studying the reference and application of different gardens to the private garden gardening techniques in the south of the Yangtze River,the paper summarizes and analyzes,and draws lessons for the planning and design of Nanhu Park.Finally,the planning and design of Nanhu Park is carried out first,and the layout is first and foremost.The detailed planning of the graphic design,functional zoning,spatial analysis,road analysis,vertical design,planting design and public design of Nanhu Park was made.The landscape nodes of the gardening techniques of the south of the Yangtze River private gardens were highlighted.This paper hopes that by applying the gardening techniques of urban forests and the south of the Yangtze River private gardens to the planning and design of urban parks,it can provide some new possibilities for solving urban ecology and people's spiritual needs.
