Research On Reinsurance And Reinsurance Of Large-scale Overseas Construction Project

With the proposal and implementation of China's the Belt and Road Initiative,overseas project,as a vital component,has reflect its irreplaceable importance.Since 2001,China's overseas investment has shown a rising trend year by year.Besides engineering cooperation,overseas project is of great importance to China's foreign exchange.The security of overseas project and its positive development are instrument to the implementation of the Belt and Road strategy.The paper describes the research status of construction insurance and reinsurance at home and abroad,describes and analyzes the definition and characteristics of overseas engineering,and introduces ways of overseas engineering insurance issuing and reinsurance.Then the paper analyzes the risks of overseas project,from four aspects including people,stuff,environment and management.It first determines the insurable risks from the coverage of construction insurance,calculates the probability by AHP-based CIM model,and determines the probability of risk occurrence of overseas project in all ranks,thus judges the risk level of each project.The paper studies overseas construction insurance by the risk evaluation results,then proposes an appropriate insurance plan.In the last part,the paper studies the example of Kagulu Kabassa hydropower station,in order to provide contributions to the development of overseas construction insurance and reinsurance.
