In recent years, historical blocks, characteristic towns, historical and cultural cities have emerged, such as the declaration of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Heritage Corridor and the onshore Silk Road heritage, indicating that China's heritage protection is gradually moving towards a macroscopic category. However, there are still many problems in the process of heritage protection: the problems of inheritance and human behavior are not symbiotic, the historical style is not symbiotic with the new style of the city, the heterogeneous culture is not symbiotic, the symbiosis of the site and the natural environment, and the social environment are not symbiotic. The concept of heritage protection is lagging behind, and the protection of the site cannot go hand in hand with the development of urban and rural areas, resulting in serious damage to the site and low utilization rate in Dunhua. In view of the problems in the protection of the Bohai State ruins in Dunhua, this paper uses the theory of symbiosis as a guide and combines outstanding cases at home and abroad to propose strategies for integrating regional public resources, constructing ecological corridors, riverside landscape belts, and optimizing single sites.Practical exploration aims to provide reference for the renovation and utilization of the ruins of small cities represented by Dunhua. The paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly describes the background, purpose, research object and scope of the research, and summarizes the research status at home and abroad.Point out the specific research methods and sort out the content framework. The second chapter mainly analyzes and deeply understands the relevanttheoretical concepts of the research objects,so as to guide the updating and utilization of the sites in the study area. The third chapter analyzes and studies the current situation of the preservation, protection and utilization of the Bohai State ruins in the Dunhua area.Through comprehensive evaluation of the site and its area,we will deeply understand the advantages and disadvantages of the local site renewal and utilization, and prepare for the next step of proposing the site renewal and utilization strategy. The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the first three chapters.Based on the problems in the protection and utilization of the Bohai Site in Dunhua,it is proposed to construct an ecological corridor, establish a symbiotic system in Dunhua, use water resources, and create an ecological cultural landscape. And the strategy of upgrading and utilizing the quality of the site and increasing the value of the site to guide practice. In the fifth chapter, according to the strategy proposed in the fourth chapter, the ecological corridor construction of the Mudanjiang River in the Dunhua Central City section is carried out.The Aodong City Site and the Jiangdong 24 Stones are updated and utilized, following the symbiotic theory to create an ecological environment.A symbiotic ecological landscape with appropriate habitats to practice and validate the results of the paper.
