The unique charm of Chinese Buddhist temple architecture, apart from its religious and religious functions, lies in its unique architectural form, which is perfectly integrated with the local culture and attracts attention in terms of space layout, garden layout and decorative patterns.Has the beauty of Chinese classical architecture. After the ancient Indian temple architecture model was introduced into China,it continued to evolve and eventually formed a unique architectural form. This article takes some typical temples in the Northeast region as an entry point, through the understanding of their development background, and conducts field research on some Temple buildings in the Northeast region, through analyzing some actual cases. This paper explores the space layout, interior layout and Buddhist culture of Chinese Buddhist temples in Northeast China from two aspects.Macroscopically, the temple architecture in the Northeast region embodies symmetry and balance in space. In detail, the temple's designers created a Buddhist atmosphere through the size of the building, the size of the Buddha statue, the facial expression of the Buddha statue, and the location of the Buddha statue. The various statues of Buddha and the exquisite artifacts together constitute a rich Buddhist space. At present,Temple architecture occupies a large proportion of the existing historical buildings in the Northeast region. The form evolution of Temple architecture not only reflects the development of religious ideology and culture, but also is a direct witness to the accumulation of social civilization in which it is located. However, according to the author's research, the study of Temple architecture in the southern region has rich literature, but in the northeastern region, there is relatively little research on temple architecture, and the information available is also concentrated on the architectural history of temples and garden planning. The study of the interior decoration of the temple did not involve much.During the course of studying for master's degree, the author studies and analyzes the interior decoration design of some typical temple buildings in northeast China through the knowledge and literature, hoping to make some contributions to the interior decoration research of modern temple buildings in northeast China.
