With the diversified development of the economy,China's people's livelihood engineering construction has developed rapidly.The expressway is a major measure in the construction of people's livelihood projects,which provides convenience for people to travel.At the same time as the rapid development of the expressway,some problems have become increasingly apparent.According to the statistics of the Ministry of Public Security,the number of highway traffic accidents and the number of deaths from 1994 to 2018 showed an upward trend.The causes of highway traffic accidents are diverse.Although people are the most important factors causing traffic accidents,engineering factors are also the key factors inducing highway traffic accidents.Study the engineering factors that induce highway traffic accidents and find effective solutions.The plan has long-term significance for the construction and management of expressways.Chengzilu Highway is an important section of Chengdu's high-speed network planning(2008-2030),which is the important channel for the Chengdu-Chongqing channel.The radiation range of the expressway is as far as the Pearl River Delta and Beibu Gulf areas.The entire high-speed line connects the two economic zones in Sichuan Province and can be connected with the Yangtze River Golden Waterway to realize the “TongjiangDahai”.Taking Chengzilu Highway as an example,based on the research status and theoretical basis at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the general situation and distribution characteristics of traffic accidents on Chengzilu Highway,from four aspects: topography,scheme design,road quality and project management.The causes of traffic accidents at Chengzilu Highway were analyzed in depth,and the preventive measures for traffic accidents at Chengzilu Highway were proposed for the above reasons.Aiming at the traffic accidents under the influence of topography and geomorphology,the paper puts forward two solutions for “reasonably adding traffic safety signs and setting rules for high-incident points of accidents”;for the traffic accidents under the influence of design schemes,it proposes “optimal management of route alignment and existing two solutions for the road design optimization plan;for the traffic accidents under the influence of road quality,two solutions for “maintenance of pavement structure and improvement of pavement drainage” were proposed;for the traffic accidents under the influence of project management,three measures for overall planning,scientific planning,construction tracking,quality control,multi-party coordination,and cooperation optimization.To build a highway with high standards and low accidents,it is necessary to make a full judgment and analysis from the design stage,fully understand the problems existing in the construction and management of expressways,explore the causes of highway traffic accidents,and continuously optimize the plan will invest in the construction and management of highway accidents caused by engineering factors,which can effectively reduce the occurrence of highway traffic accidents,benefit the people and contribute to the society.
