| With the further promotion of one belt one road initiative, more and more enterprises have begun to go abroad to undertake overseas projects. Some of the major overseas projects countries have strict labor protection policies. In terms of power plant contracting, owners are more inclined to adopt the project contracting mode in the form of main island(BTG).The coal-fired power station project has the characteristics of complex system, large investment quota, wide range of related links and long construction period. Therefore,it is of great significance to establish an effective international BTG general contracting project risk management system since the construction period is long and cost risks are very large. This paper first introduces the country and project of the SS Coal-fired Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh India, and then classifies the risks faced by the project in term of systemic risk and non-systematic risk.It is analyzed that the risk of constructing coal-fired power plants in BTG mode are mainly political risk, economic risks, environmental risks, procurement management risks, human resources risks, quality risks, schedule risks and security risks. This paper analyzes these risk factors one by one,and uses the Monte Carlo simulation program crystal ball software to simulate the comprehensive impact of project risk and schedule risk, and proposes methods and specific measures including the improvement of overseas material supply chain, strengthening localized procurement,on-site management and control, schedule refinement, technical interface management, staffing, improvement of safety management system and inventory system based on the analysis results. This study provides a practical method for risk management of similar thermal power projects in the form of BTG contracting, and provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for risk managers. |
