Study On Narrative Design Of Plant Landscape

With the development of modern landscape design and the change of people's aesthetic concepts,people's demand for plant landscape is not only limited to function and aesthetic level,but also to the spiritual level.In order to adapt to the development of the times and solve the problems of modelling,convergence of regional characteristics and lack of humanistic care in modern plant landscape,it is necessary to put forward new plant landscape design theories and methods to promote the development of modern plant landscape.As a new design method,narrative design is more and more used in landscape design to create cultural landscape space.As an important element of landscape architecture,plant landscape design theory can also be discussed from the perspective of narratology.This paper introduces the concept of narrative in literary field into the category of plant landscape,and tries to find a new method to comprehensively and deeply analyze plant landscape and excavate the spiritual essence of plant landscape.By using the narrative design method of plant landscape reasonably,the narration of space stories can be realized,and the spiritual connotation and regional context of landscape sites can be conveyed,so as to achieve emotional resonance with users.This paper mainly studies the following aspects:(1)This paper discusses the relationship between narrative theory and plant landscape in theory,defines the basic concepts of plant landscape narrative,and expounds the process and characteristics of plant landscape narrative.This paper studies the narrative form of plant landscape from three aspects:individual,group and borrowing scenery,and discusses the connotation of different narrative forms,such as local and whole of individual plant landscape,linear and surface groups of plant landscape,drawing on different elements and poems,etc.(2)Based on the theoretical study of different narrative forms of plant landscape,four narrative design methods of plant landscape are put forward:time organization narrative,space organization narrative,plant culture narrative and place integration narrative.Time organization is elaborated from static and dynamic aspects.Space level is divided into space type and space organization.Plant culture includes symbolic narrative,metaphorical narrative and naming narrative,while place integration level summarizes the design methods of theme building narrative,environment supporting narrative and scene reproduction narrative of plant landscape.(3)This paper selects five cases at home and abroad to interpret the narrative design of plant landscape.This paper summarizes the linear narrative,layout narrative and environment-setting narrative methods of plant landscape in the case,and the methods of expressing related stories or scene themes by using plant solitary or ontological characteristics such as color,morphological metaphor or or symbolic narrative,so as to provide reference for specific practical application.(4)This paper takes Hu Yaobang's hometown scenic spot as an example,carries out the narrative design of plant landscape,and introduces the general situation of the project,the concept and principle of the narrative design of plant landscape of the site.Finally,on the basis of interpreting the spirit and story of the characters,the narrative transformation design of the plant landscape in Yaobang Cultural Core Experience Zone is carried out in detail,including the adjustment of the original space layout of the site,the selection of specific plant species and the transformation design of node plant landscape.
