| Under the circumstance of globalization and urbanization,the regional landscape of vast areas in China is facing the problems of loss of characteristics and the continuity of the traditional features.It is of great significance to study the regional landscape from the perspective of landscape architecture and to put forward protection strategies.After thousands of years of evolution,Taihu Lake Basin has formed a unique natural landscape.During the traditional farming period,Yixing ancestors,on the West Bank of Taihu Lake,built the traditional regional landscape with characteristics in Yixing area after thousands of years of land development.Its formation is the result of the interaction between man and nature.This paper takes the traditional regional landscape in Yixing area as the research object,teases out the historical evolution process of Yixing regional landscape and summarizes its law;makes analysis to the regional landscape system based on their construction and summarizes the connections among various subsystems.It also carries on the sample study to the typical regional settlements,and verifies the comprehensive role of the elements of regional landscape through the sampling analysis.Besides,it also explores the protection and transformation strategies for traditional regional landscape in Yixing area,which can be specified into the following aspects:Firstly,based on the time axis,this paper teases out the changes of regional landscape in the whole Yixing area,finding that the regional landscape is formed under the interaction of human and nature.At the same time,it studies the four subsystems of the regional landscape system:nature,water conservancy,farmland and settlement,analyses the elements and partition characteristics of each subsystem,and summarizes the connection among the subsystems.Secondly,by validating the regional landscape system with several typical urban samples,it reveals the comprehensive role of each subsystem of the regional landscape,and finds that the formation and development of cities and towns are the result of the comprehensive effects of natural environment and human activities.Meanwhile,in the process of interaction between human and nature,culture gradually emerges,which enriches the connotation of the regional landscape.Finally,by analyzing the impact of rapid urbanization on Yixing’s regional landscape,this paper explores the protection and transformation of regional landscape in the time of urbanization,and puts forward relevant protection strategies. |
