Design And Implementation Of Reader In Metro Standardized AFC System

With the increasing of economy,more and more large and medium-sized cities began to build their own rail transit to meet the demand of rapid economic development.In the field of rail transit,operating companies generally use the Auto Fare Collection system(AFC)to assist the daily operation and management of rail transit.As the key part of AFC system,the Ticket Process Unit(TPU)is widely used in station terminal equipment such as Automatic Gate Machine(AGM),Booking Office Machine(BOM)and Automatic Ticket Booking Machine(TVM).According to actual requirements,the company of this project is prepared to develop an AFC reader that is commonly used in all station terminal equipment.The author participated in all processes from requirement analysis,system design,system implementation and actual testing.This paper would introduce the work which the author did in the whole development process in detail:All services of AGM,TVM and BOM are integrated into one AFC reader.Metro standardized AFC reader realized functions of inquiry,ticket selling,recharge,inbound,outbound,fare adjusting,refund,loss reporting,etc.Besides,it adopts parameterized configuration design method to realize the special functions in different equipment.As different devices ran in different environments,BOM and TVM usually use the embedded Windows system,AGM uses the embedded Linux operating system.Metro standardized AFC reader realized cross-platform running.The current AFC reader only supported financial IC cards in the standard of PBOC2.0.The metro standardized AFC reader supported IC cards that meets the standard of PBOC3.0,and it is also downward compatible with the PBOC2.0 IC card.The current metro AFC readers often had incompletely done in the ticket writing operations due to the irregular card swiping or the short induction time.In view of this situation,the metro standardized AFC reader optimized the business process of all kinds of tickets and atomized the ticker writing operation.After the implement of metro standardized AFC reader,all station terminal equipment will adopt the same AFC reader,which greatly reduced the complexity of business rule changing and improved the efficiency of system upgrading.The system has been running with good state and it achieves all expected goals.
