In many electric power equipment,reactor has the very important position,in the power system has the stray capacity current compensation,limit switching inrush current,short circuit current limiting,filtering,flat wave,start,lightning protection,the wave resistance,and so on.Because core reactor in the power system can play its advantages,conducive to the stable operation of the power grid,so core reactor is widely used in all walks of life,so the requirements for reactor products are getting higher and higher.Therefore,the accurate calculation of core loss and coil eddy current loss of core reactor will play a crucial role in the study of core structure rationality.Based on the basic principles of electromagnetic field,dissertation took 10 kV and 35 kV core reactors as examples and establishes 2D and 3D finite element analysis models identical to the actual structure in the static magnetic field of ANASYS finite element software.In the core structure,the magnetic potential balance between the core and the core cake should be considered.The core cake height was changed within the core column,the influence of core cake height on the loss was analyzed,and then the core loss and eddy current loss were calculated,and the optimal core cake height for 10 kV and 35 kV core reactors was between 90 mm and 50mm~110mm respectively.Furthermore,the relationship between eddy current loss and the size of air gap increases with the increase of the length of air gap.The relationship between eddy current loss and the number of core cake is studied under the condition that the height of core cake is constant.After obtaining the reasonable structure of iron core column,the relationship between coil height change,main air passage distance change and loss was studied,and the optimal distance between the main air passage of 10 kV and 35 kV core reactors was 45mm~50mm,125mm~130mm,respectively.Furthermore,the relationship between the depth of the core cake probe into the coil and the size and loss of the end air gap is studied.The optimal depth of the discus probe into the 10 kV and 35 kV core reactors is about 80% and 60% of the probe into the coil,and the end air gap should be as small as possible.The reasonable structure of 10 kV and 35 kV core reactor is obtained through comparative analysis,which provides an effective theoretical basis for the optimal design and stable operation of core reactor and has certain guiding significance.
