| China has entered the era of comprehensive high-speed railway.High-speed railway is favored by residents for its high driving safety, fast running speed, comfortable riding and good service quality. The development of high-speed rail is a great innovation in the development history of transportation. With the opening of high-speed rail in recent years, from a micro perspective, residents have more and more alternative travel routes, and their travel behaviors will also change. From a macro perspective, the tourism industry along the high-speed railway develops rapidly under the promotion of the high-speed railway, and the spatial pattern of the tourism industry will also change. As the capital city of Shaanxi province and one of China’s important transport hubs,xi ’an officially entered the era of comprehensive high-speed railway with the official opening of the Xicheng high-speed railway from Xi’an to Chengdu at 8:22 am on December 6,2017.In this paper, from the practical perspective,in the era of high-speed rail developmentas the background, demand hierarchy theory and tourism decision-making theory as the theoretical basis, residents in Xi’an as research object, using the single factor analysis of variance(ANOVA),cross analysis,chi-square test, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods, first of all,on the basic characteristics of Xi’an residents last outing descriptive statistics analysis in the form of chart; Then the cross-analysis method was used to compare the differences in the travel behavior of Xi’an residents who recently took different means of transportation. Then through factor analysis, find out the influence of Xi’an residents choose to take public factor and the naming of high-speed rail travel, finally affect residents through correlation analysis and regression analysis to establish the multiple linear regression equation of high-speed rail travel quantitative measure of the effect residents independent variables and their effect weight of high-speed rail travel, which help the tourism related department to clear the goal of high speed rail travel market, targeted the design of tourism products, and provide reference for the further development of the tourism market, expand customer,as well as the high-speed rail transport sector provide relevant Suggestions for improvement. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the descriptive statistical analysis of the most recent travel experience of Xi’an residents, the transportation means that Xi’an residents choose to travel by are mainly high-speed trains and airplanes, while those taking ordinary trains and long-distance buses are in the minority. The main purposes of taking high-speed rail are sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, followed by study and internship, business meetings and vacation and recuperation.Fewer residents choose to take high-speed rail for religious pilgrimage. Most of the traveling companions are family members, friends and colleagues.A small number of residents choose to travel alone. Most of the options for travel are self-service or semi-service,and the group travel preferred by tourists in the past is slightly less than semi-service.The number of days spent abroad is mostly 4-5,and the proportion of residents staying 2-3 days and 6-7 days is slightly lower than the former.Fewer residents choose to stay for more than 7 days and go back and forth on the same day.The cost of travel is mostly 2000-2999 yuan, the proportion of residents who spend 1000-1999 yuan and 3000-4999 yuan is slightly lower than the former, and the cost of travel for less residents is less than 1000 yuan and more than 5000 yuan.(2)Through the cross analysis, more choice on different transport travel Xi’an residents traveling in decision-making behavior and the differences of consumption characteristics can be learned: aircraft and high-speed passenger in the mode of travel, prefer to join the travel team, half self-help tour, most of the choice of travel time for three days or seven day small long vacation,in the choice of accommodation, dining spots prefer to a high level of standards, travel cost budget is higher;Ordinary train and long-distance bus passengers travel for more than 7 days, and they tend to choose accommodation and dining places with lower costs, such as staying at the home of relatives and friends.Similarly, their expenditure is also at a lower level.(3)Factor analysis of the influencing factors of Xi’an residents’ choice of taking high-speed rail for travel can be integrated into four public factors, namely, objective factor of high-speed rail, ticket purchase and frequency factor of high-speed rail, cost performance factor of high-speed rail and subjective perception factor of tourists.(4)The results obtained from the correlation analysis of the basic statistical information of Xi’an residents, four public factors and their willingness to travel by high-speed rail are as follows:At the significance level of 0.01,there was a significant negative correlation between the age of Xi’an residents and their choice to travel by high-speed rail. There was a significant positive correlation between the cost performance factor of high-speed rail and the choice of travelling by high-speed rail. There was a significant positive correlation between travelers’ subjective perception factors and their choice of high-speed rail. There was a significant positive correlation between ticket purchase and frequency factor and the choice of high-speed rail travel. There was no significant correlation between gender and choice of high-speed rail travel. At the significance level of 0.05,there was a significant positive correlation between Xi’an residents’ monthly income and their choice to travel by high-speed rail. Objective factors of high-speed rail are significantly positively correlated with choosing to travel by high-speed rail, while occupation is not significantly correlated with choosing to travel by high-speed rail.(5)Through regression analysis,it is concluded that the independent variables that mainly affect Xi’an residents’ choice of high-speed rail travel are ticket purchase and frequency factor of high-speed rail and cost performance factor of high-speed rail. |
