The multistatic sonar system is an important equipment for marine defense detection because of its better detection coverage ability than monostatic sonar. The application scenarios of multistatic sonar systems and the diversification of mission requirements make the platforms and sonars involved in the detection also diversified, and different types of platforms and mounted sonar constitute heterogeneous multi-base detection systems. The multistatic sonar system has a coupling relationship with the marine environment, and the operating parameters of the sonar detection system are reasonably set so that the sonar system can be optimally adapted to the current marine environment to achieve the best target detection performance and the largest detection range. This paper aims to solve the parameter optimization problem of multi-base sonar detection system by using the swarm intelligent optimization algorithm, and gives the best decision-making suggestions for detection efficiency. In order to evaluate the performance of the detection system under the current parameter settings,a complete heterogeneous multi-base sonar detection system performance evaluation model was constructed.Based on the bistatic sonar equation, the multistatic sonar system is split into multiple sets of bistatic sonar systems, through effective source level simulation of heterogeneous sonar systems, wave acoustics and propagation loss simulation of Bellhop ray acoustic models. The noise spectrum of the main noise source of noise interference is simulated and analyzed.Based on the small slope model, the modeling of the sonar parameters such as the multi-base reverberation model is established by combining the effective reverberation area of the seabed, and the received signal-to-noise ratio is obtained. After obtaining the gain, the detection probability of the sonar system to the target is obtained according to the receiver characteristic curve, and the detection probability results of the bistatic systems are merged to obtain the detection capability evaluation model of the multistatic system.According to the model, the parameters such as the position, sonar working mode and frequency band that affect the performance of multistatic sonar detection are explored.Swarm intelligent optimization of sonar parameters is based on the evaluation model.Taking the harmony search, improved harmony search and particle swarm optimization as examples, the parameters of the detection system are optimized. The performance of the algorithm is compared and a hybrid algorithm of harmony search with particle swarm is proposed. The convergence speed is faster than the harmony search.Optimized speed and global search ability are better than particle swarm optimization. In order to meet the needs of diversified optimization tasks,a multi-criteria optimization method that uses the analytic hierarchy process to combine multiple optimization criteria is proposed, and the problem of "optimization coverage under point coverage" is taken as an example. Finally,a simple and feasible discrete variable continuous method is proposed. The discrete variables are unified with the continuous variables,so the algorithm suitable for continuous variable optimization is also suitable for discrete variable optimization. The sonar working mode and working frequency band are taken as examples. The discrete variable optimization is completed and the joint optimization with the continuous variables of the platform position is realized.
