With the rapid development of acoustic stealth technology in recent years,the radiated noise and target strength of underwater targets have been significantly reduced and the sonar detection capability is decreasing accordingly.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of the sonar system,the study of a new operating mode of a sonar system is very necessary.Multistatic sonar receiving and transmitting equipment split.It has both advantage of monostatic active sonar does not depend on the target radiated noise,known signal waveform of detection,and passive sonar good invisibility,but also increases the detection range.First,this paper is based on the positioning principle of dual and multi-base sonar system.The positioning error in the dual,multi-base sonar localization algorithm is derived.Using this representation of the positioning error which is called geometrical dilution of precision,to analysis the impact of different system parameters on the positioning accuracy of the sonar system.Positioning features under the different lineup conditions of multistatic sonar systems were studied,given the corresponding conclusions.Second,an overview of the basic principles of maneuvering target tracking is presented.Describe the difficulties in handling the target tracking process.The basic elements of maneuvering target tracking problem are summed up,including the target motion models and the commonly used filters for maneuvering target tracking algorithms.The paper also analyzed the characteristics of the various filtering algorithms.Third,to solve the problem of data association in the field of tracking targets in the clutter region,the current study is conducted applying multiple hypothesis tracking(MHT)technology.From the perspective of engineering applications,we developed a new method which adopted Murty and IMM algorithm to optimize its efficiency and practicability.Simulation and analysis of data in Matlab showed that this method can improve target tracking stability in the clutter region.
