In recent years,some parent-child programs,such as "where is Dad going","Mom is Superman","Dad is back" and so on,have attracted great attention to the problem of parent-child relationship.Effective communication is good to promote the rapid sublimation of parent-child relationship.The purpose of parent-child products is to facilitate emotional communication and interaction between parents and children through the use of parent-child products.Good preset use and emotional level will improve the interactive effect of parent-child products and the user’s sense of use,Then improve the quality of parent-child relationship,promote the development of children’s physical and mental health,stimulate children’s potential,and make family relations harmonious.The three concepts of "affordance","emotionalization","Interactive" play an indispensable role in product design.Through caring out the research contents and analyzing the application cases of exceptional products,this paper discusses the application methods of "affordance","emotionalization","Interactive" in the design of parent-child products.It further explores how to create profitable preset uses to allow users to interact effectively and cause emotional changes,and finally comes to the conclusion that "affordance","emotionalization","Interactive" are complemented by each other.Mutual promotion and interdependence are also the three essential elements of parent-child product design.Through understanding this psychological,physiological,social characteristics of target consumers and the characteristics of parent-child products needed by school-age children,eight design principles were obtained.At the same time,through the user-centered design method,using the way of a questionnaire survey and statistics and analysis,to understand the needs and objectives of users,to analyze the design concept that parent-child product development needs to carry out.The results demonstrate that properly designed and emotional-based interactive parent-child products meet the everyday needs of parents and children.The results of this studycan be used as a reference for parents to choose and purchase parent-child products and for product designers to design parent-child products.
