There is an interactive relationship between curbside parking fees and garage parking fees,especially in the formulation of fee prices.Through the study of literature at home and abroad,it is found that reasonable charges can effectively alleviate the problems of parking difficulty and traffic disorder.Overseas scholars have shifted their research from the single curbside parking fee pricing to the joint pricing of garage parking and curbside parking,discussing the interaction between them and the game process.However,the domestic research on parking fee pricing mainly focuses on curbside parking fee pricing.Few scholars combine curbside parking with garage parking fee pricing.Based on Professor Richard Arnott's research on parking fee pricing,this paper introduces parking fee in garage.Combining with the actual parking problem,this paper improves the constraints and influencing factors in the model to get the pricing model.This paper introduces the concept of medium and long term economics,and divides the parking capacity into two situations: variable capacity and fixed capacity.According to the parking modes of travelers,the parking behavior can be divided into three categories: only curbside parking,i.e.only parking on the roadside is allowed,no parking space is provided;only parking in the garage is allowed,and no parking space is provided on the roadside;both parking space and curbside parking space are available,at which time travelers can park their vehicles on the road.The side can also be parked in the garage.On the other hand,under the condition of long-term operation,the pricing of parking fees is divided into parking fees under the optimal condition and parking fees under the sub-optimal condition.By maximizing the unobjective function of social surplus,the model quantifies the social benefits and travel costs generated by travelers' travel,and obtains the expression of maximizing social surplus,which is used as the evaluation index of whether parking fee pricing is reasonable or not.According to Arnott's theory of supply and demand in parking economics,economic leverage regulation and Shoup's theory of cruise parking,the relationship between variables and factors is obtained as the relevant constraints to maximize the social surplus,and then the model is constructed.Finally,the model is calculated and validated by using MATLAB software.The results show that the model is reasonable and has good generalization.The research direction of this paper can provide urban traffic managers with new ideas for urban traffic improvement.The conclusion of the study can provide a solution to the parking problem for urban parking managers.The study of parking management strategies in this paper can provide suggestions for parking managers to formulate parking management strategies.The parking pricing model can provide a sound pricing theory for urban parking pricing.In the prospects of the follow-up work,this paper puts forward the shortcomings and improvement direction of the research,which provides a good research idea for the scholars to study the parking problem.
