In recent years,with the rapid development of our country's economy,the expressway has developed rapidly.By the end of 2017,the expressway mileage has exceeded 1365,000 km.In the early years,asphalt concrete pavement structure based on semi-rigid base course has been widely used in high-grade highway in our country because of its high overall strength,strong slab,local materials and many other advantages.However,the practice of expressway operation for many years has proved that this structure is sensitive to heavy traffic,weak anti-scouring capacity,and the strength of semi-rigid base decreases rapidly.Therefore,in order to effectively avoid or postpone the occurrence of high-grade highway structural diseases,a new type of pavement structure with good development prospects has been proposed and applied,which is the central content of this paper-asphalt pavement structure based on roller compacted concrete base.This pavement structure is concerned by engineering circles.Based on Guangle Expressway,this paper will study the characteristics and engineering application of this new type of asphalt pavement structure based on roller compacted concrete.The main research contents and results are as follows:1.Based on the investigation of relevant data at home and abroad,this paper summarizes and analyzes the structural characteristics of traditional asphalt pavement,points out the existing problems,and points out that the new asphalt pavement structure based on roller compacted concrete has become a direction of the development of expressway pavement structure in China.2.Finite element analysis of load stress factors of new asphalt pavement structure based on roller compacted concrete is carried out.Corresponding analysis index and test scheme are put forward under this pavement structure.Meanwhile,how to optimize the combination of new asphalt pavement structure based on roller compacted concrete is put forward.3.In view of the temperature-sensitive characteristics of ordinary concrete materials,an experimental study on the temperature-shrinkage characteristics of roller compacted concrete was carried out..The results show that the temperature stress of RCC base is far less than that of cement concrete pavement.Under the influence of temperature difference in Guangdong area,the influence of temperature on base can be ignored.4.Based on Guangle Expressway,the design method and control index analysis of new asphalt pavement structure with roller compacted concrete as base are carried out,and the relevant indexes are monitored for a long time.The results show that the research scheme proposed in this paper can make the new asphalt pavement structure based on RCC have excellent performance in apparent quality and mechanical properties,and can improve the durability of the pavement,especially in some sections where large trucks often pass by.The role.The results can provide theoretical and practical support for the structural design of asphalt pavement on roller compacted concrete base.
