The geography-based(geo-based)resource selection algorithm is a kind of autonomous resource selection algorithm for Vehicle to Vehicle(V2V)communications,and it is regulated by 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP).It can avoid collisions, reduce interference and improve the reliability of communications. However, the vehicle density is not considered in geo-based algorithm. Therefore, the performance of geo-based resource selection algorithm is not good enough when vehicle density is nonuniform. In order to address this problem, the dynamic geo-based resource selection algorithm is proposed in Manhattan urban scenario and real map scenario. The bipartite graph and hierarchical clustering are utilized in the above two scenarios respectively.System level simulation results suggest that the dynamic geo-based resource selection algorithm can promote the Packet Reception Ratio(PRR)effectively in both scenarios with respect to the existing geo-based resource selection algorithm.Schedule Assignment(SA)decoding algorithm is one step of geo-based resource selection algorithm. It can also be optimized. The problem of hidden node will happen in the SA decoding algorithm if the partition of geographic areas is large. Therefore,a SA sharing mechanism is proposed so as to solve the problem of hidden node of the SA decoding algorithm and increase the reliability of communications.
