Research On Regional Landscape Of Putian Xinghua Plain

The national landscapes of China are extremely unique and different because of the great differences in natural environment and historical characteristics of our country.The wide variety of landscape in our country is a valuable asset which worth very much cherishing and maintaining.Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid modernization and urbanization process,the economy and society have experienced unprecedented rapid development.Meanwhile,the living standards of people have also improved significantly during the process.However,the process of the rapid urbanization and modernization has also brought about negative impacts.Due to the neglect of paying enough attention and protection to the unique geographical landscape during the development process,the regional landscape features of many regions have gradually disappeared,the urban and rural natural systems gradually tend to fragment.Therefore,how to protect and inherit the unique features of a region and protect the integrity of natural systems in the background of rapid urbanization and modernization is an important issue that worth landscape architectures paying attention to.The coastal plains of Zhejiang and Fujian provinces are the typical examples of long-term interaction between human and nature.So they are the ideal samples for conducting regional landscape research.Xinghua Plain in Putian is a typical representative sample of the coastal plains due to the relatively closed geographical environment,the perfect water conservancy construction,and the excellent land use methods.However,at present,there is not a research carried out for this region from the perspective of landscape architecture.Therefore,this paper selects the Xinghua Plain in Putian as a typical sample to study from the perspective of landscape architecture,which also serves as a supplementary part of the general survey of the national landscape.After clarifying the research object and the research purpose,the overall research framework of the study can also be determined.Firstly,the natural environment of Putian Xinghua Plain was analyzed,because understanding the basic characteristics of the natural environment are the premise and basis for the study of regional landscape.These basic characteristics have a fundamental impact on the formation and development of regional landscape features.Secondly,the paper focused on the entire historical period of Xinghua Plain from the perspective of landscape architecture,explained the evolutionary process of the regional landscape in Xinghua Plain and analyzed the influencing factors of its evolution and changes.Then,the paper layered the regional landscape of the Putian Xinghua Plain into four parts:natural landscape,water system construction,agricultural construction,and urban and rural construction.The causes,components,and characteristics of the various elements were studied.Finally,through the comparison between the past and the present in the Xinghua Plain of Putian,the paper summarized the existing problems in this region under the background of the rapid urbanization and modernization development.The paper tries to give the protection,restoration and development strategies of the regional landscape in the background of rapid urbanization.
