Research On The Suitability Of Intelligent Products Based On Usability Testing

In order to adapt to and meet the needs of the elder consumer groups,the products and service models based on computers and the Internet have increasingly provided support and service for the elderly,which has been an effective method to deal with the aging society.The market demand for smart products among the elderly is gradually accelerating,and the different features in demand and use also become more prominent.Intelligent products based on information technology and sensing technology make the performance and operation content of the products as tools increasing complex,resulting in older people operating difficult.At a time when the level of intelligence product is constantly improving,how to meet the needs of the elderly is becoming a focus of attention.The usability test is a quantitative and behavior-based user research method which is designed to allow target users to actually use the product and discover availability issues in the product,or compare performance levels.By using the theory to study the behavior mode of the elderly in the operation process of intelligent products,the interaction mode between users and products can be effectively grasped,and the usability problems such as the form,operation and interactive interface of target products can be found out.This paper takes the usability test as the main research method to obtain the characteristic information of the elderly and their demand for intelligent products.Analyze aging barriers and obtain availability requirements and availability principles.In the study,the intelligent electric pressure cooker favored by the elderly was selected for experimental evaluation,including product test and prototype test.From the perspective of behavioral logic,operational behaviors of the elderly are quantified through experimental data.Finally,using the above design principles and strategies,the product concept design.
