Secondary vocational school professional design courses can be combined with regional traditional culture learning,so that students can improve their artistic accomplishment and cultural connotation of design works while learning through professional courses.Professional design courses in secondary vocational schools should not only train students' professional skills,but also undertake the role of aesthetic education for students,explore new forms of inheritance of traditional culture,and play an important role in improving students' humanistic quality,broadening students' creative thinking and increasing design materials.I put forward the idea of how to incorporate Lingnan decorative elements into the curriculum of "Home Space Design" in secondary vocational schools and conducted practical teaching research.By completing the actual home space design project,I can master the design skills of home space,familiarize myself with Lingnan decorative elements and cultural connotations,and realize the unity of learning professional technical skills and inheritance of traditional culture.At present,the curriculum of "Home Space Design" in secondary vocational schools,which combines with professional design courses,has not received the attention of schools and teachers,but focuses on the cultivation of professional and technical skills,which divorces traditional culture from practical design.Teachers' teaching methods and evaluation mechanism are more traditional,and it is difficult for students to digest and absorb the connotation of traditional culture in their own.Project design.In the teaching practice of Lingnan decorative elements in the course of "Home Space Design" of secondary vocational schools,the teachers and students of secondary vocational schools are fully investigated,the decorative elements of Lingnan are sorted out and listed comprehensively,and a set of teaching design scheme,subject matter and culture suitable for Lingnan decorative elements in the course of "Home Space Design" of secondary vocational schools are designed.Connotation and Lingnan style project design method,to create a "project-driven,teaching-doing integration" teaching model,using "heuristic teaching,flipping classroom" to improve students' learning interest and sense of responsibility,in order to explore Lingnan decorative elements in the secondary vocational school "homespace design" Curriculum Feasibility and practicality.
