With the development of productivity,the electric products provided in the market are extremely abundant,and the competition is increasingly fierce.Many domestic electric enterprises are on the brink of difficulty,and some enterprises even get bogged down in the mire of price war.Compared with foreign electric enterprises,we can see that once the recognition of products is improved,they will stand out from many products and become more popular with consumers,and their market competitiveness will also increase significantly.In order to enhance the power of product identification and brand characteristics,and improve the ability of foreign electric power product competition,many domestic electrical enterprises are required to identify products to reconsider their products(Product Identity)planning and design,to change or improve the disadvantages of domestic electrical enterprises.In this paper,through the research on the state of PI design and electrical companies,the domestic electric power enterprises-Li Cheng electric products Electric Group for the design practice object,put forward the general process of PI design,through the method of literature,comparative analysis and survey methods of electrical products,electrical industry and users research and analysis,determine the design of PI power products positioning and direction of keywords;through intention combination method,design strategy,design scheme of product design concept,evaluation of the program;and the identification elements are summed up and summarized and refined,the output of PI manual.In the end,the PI design process and the concrete practice of the power product are summarized and compared.This paper improves the research of PI design,and helps domestic electrical enterprises to design effective product planning and PI,enhance the competitiveness of electric power products and improve the disadvantage of domestic electric enterprises.
