The Post Development Utilization Methods Of Garden Expo In The Perspective Of Urban Regenaration

The Garden Expo which originated from the West,has been in China for decades.The city where the Garden Expo was held attracted a lot of tourists during the exhibition and creating economic value.However,parks are facing the development of the bottleneck after closure without exception.Old management modes led to the sudden decline of the amount of tourists,interests chain breaks and scenic maintenance difficulties.In addition,according to the exhibition standard planning and design of the site and function,Garden Expo has been unable to meet the needs of public daily recreational entertainment.The district concluding Garden Expo is facing development declination,post development utilization of Garden Expo is urgent to change.The paper takes redesigning Xiamen Garden Expo Park as an example,the key research is to explore the sustainable methods of post development utilization.Strategies are developed according to assessment of current conditions,so that the park is more sustainable in the aspect of environment,society,culture and economy.In addition,the follow-up use of Xiamen Garden Expo Park should be closely integrated with the development of the city in order to take it as an opportunity to deal with their own problems at the same time,to promote the re’vival of surrounding urban areas,to improve the quality of urban open space and improve urban ecological environment positive effects.
