Chinese enterprises are not going well on the road of “going out”.The huge differences in business philosophy and management methods between the two sides caused by different cultures are one of the important reasons for the failure of Chinese enterprises to cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Therefore, cultural integration in cross-border mergers and acquisitions is an important factor in the success or failure of Chinese companies' cross-border mergers and acquisitions.Haier Group can successfully go abroad and cannot be separated from its own cultural integration. This paper hopes that through the analysis of Haier's acquisition of Sanyo,it can provide reference for other Chinese enterprises to carry out cross-border M&A culture integration. This paper firstly combines the existing research results to elaborate on the concepts related to cross-border mergers and acquisitions and cultural integration.Secondly, through the case analysis method,Haier acquired the classic case of Sanyo, and analyzed the national and corporate culture characteristics of Haier and Sanyo in the process of case analysis.Characteristics, identified the cultural differences between the two group nationalities and enterprises.Thirdly,on the basis of analyzing Haier's choice of infiltration culture integration model,Haier Group's cultural integration measures for cultural differences are summarized:Sanyo Group was carefully investigated and fully understood in the early stage of mergers and acquisitions, and Haier Group enterprises were acquired after the completion of the merger. The integration of management culture into Sanyo has improved Sanyo's original salary system, organizational structure and management methods, and conducted cross-cultural training for employees. After the completion of the merger,Qingdao Haier's four financial indicators:growth, profitability, operational capacity and solvency, and three non-financial indicators of employee identity, brand value and market share, analyze the cultural integration effect of Haier Group. We can conclude that Haier's acquisition of Sanyo culture has achieved good results. Finally,it puts forward two suggestions for Haier's future integration of cross-border M&A culture:to control its own financial risks;to make rational use of the successful experience of cultural integration. For the integration of Chinese enterprises'cross-border M&A culture, the following six aspects are given:to do a good job in cultural investigation;to rationally select cultural integration mode;to coordinate management mode;to strengthen employee integration;to reshape corporate vision;and to strengthen cultural self-confidence.
