Research On The Design Of Faith Cultural Derivatives Of Bao-sheng-da-di In Fujian-Taiwan Region

Chairman Xi proposed the concept of peace and tolerance in the national religious Conference,which emphasized that people should dig out the contents of belief which are conducive to social harmony,progress of the times,health and civilization in order to make interpretations in line with the development of contemporary society and the excellent traditional culture of China.The faith culture of Bao-sheng-da-di(the God of Medicine of Chinas Taoism)plays a important position in the folk beliefs of Fujian and Taiwan areas.By building lots of temples and worship activities,the belief gradually formed a characteristic regional faith culture in the area.How could the Faith Cultural Concept in traditional culture be excavated and made a contemporary interpretation?How could it be applied to practicing on the development and design of faith cultural derivatives?The purpose of this article is exploring a effective set of development modes of the faith cultural derivatives in the context of contemporary times and applying it to the execution process of design practice.Therefore,the research on the design of faith cultural derivatives of Bao-sheng-da-di conforms to the trend of modern development,and also conforms to the pursuit of spiritual culture by consumers.It is discussed the design of the faith cultural derivatives of Bao-sheng-da-di in Fujian and Taiwan from four parts in the paper.In the first part,analyze the reason for the topic selection and the research status at home and abroad,and introduced the research purpose,significance,methods,key problems and innovation points of the paper.In the second part,the unique artistic characteristics of faith culture of Bao-sheng-da-di is expounded by some means,such as documentary analysis,field research,etc.The characteristics,development value and meaning of developing of faith cultural derivatives are sketched at the same time.In the third part,the development status and existing problems of the faith cultural derivatives are analyzed,and then design principles and design patterns propose are proposed after learning the international field study of concrete examples of excellent designing cases both home and abroad,taking an active part in creative design competition of Bao-sheng-da-di and investigating ancestral shrine.In the fourth part,take an example about the design of faith cultural derivatives of Bao-sheng-da-di in Fujian-Taiwan region is discussed after analyzing the above three parts.It is refined relevant symbols and regional cultural characteristics by aiming at the design of faith cultural derivatives of Bao-sheng-da-di,and completed the brand construction and derivatives application of Bao-sheng-da-di by combining with the"good faith"concept,aiming not only to promote and inherit the faith culture by the design of faith cultural derivatives,but also to promote the development of local economy and culture through humorous and affinity design which used for integrating the culture of faith and custom into the contemporary life.Finally,it is summed up the design practice results of this topic,and then the method and procedure of the extraction and reconstruction of the visual elements of folk faith based on the concept of good faith are explored.It is expected that there will be more in-depth thinking and exploration in the development and research direction of folk custom cultural derivatives.
