The sun directly illuminates the object surface,which is named sunlight.The situation that sun directly illustrates the architecture or site called daylight.Daylight has a close relationship with human health and it is a necessary condition of human’s life.It is demonstrated that enough daylight has a significant impact on sterilization,prevention of diseases and promoting physical and mental health.During winter,enough daylight is able to increase the indoor temperature,therefore,daylight standard in architecture is raised based on the condition of human health.In recent years,as the fast development of urbanization and the improvement of the living standard,individuals has improved the requirements to the quality of residential buildings,therefore,the execution of daylight standard will have a great influence on human’s life because the parameter settings of the daylight calculation has an impact on the results of daylight analysis and further influence the daylight quality.The aim of this essay is to investigate the parameter settings in the daylight calculation.This essay takes the location of Shandong Province as an instance.Initially,the background of the theme,aim,meaning,domestic and international development,research content and methodology are illustrated in the introduction.Simultaneously,the beginning of the essay collects the daylight calculation results of eight typical cities in Shandong.In terms of the analysis of these results,the problems existing in the parameter settings and the reasons why it happens are proposed.According to these problems,further analysis of shading area,daylight simulation,windows analysis and daylight time calculation is conducted in order to propose reasonable suggestions.Eventually apply the new methodology to the practical cases to demonstrate the irrationality of the existing daylight calculation settings and the feasibility of the new parameter settings.
