In recent years,the field of architecture has developed rapidly in China.A variety of new buildings appear in the public view.However,behind this rapid development,there is also a huge global energy consumption.At the same time,the requirement of indoor comfort is higher and higher.Among them,the indoor thermal comfort is a hot spot in the field of HVAC for the buildings with large atrium.In the initial stage of air conditioning design for large space,it is an important part of the air conditioning design process to predict the comfort effect of different air conditioning schemes.The main means of prediction are software simulation,experimental test and experience summary and analysis,etc.In this paper,the large atrium of a hotel is taken as the research object.According to the specific size of the hotel and the design parameters of the air conditioning room and outdoor,the model is established by using the Airpak in the CFD simulation software.This paper first introduces the numerical simulation method,then introduces the characteristics of the large atrium and the comfort problems that may be encountered under the heating conditions in winter,and then models and simulates the thermal environment of the large atrium.Simulation of indoor temperature field,velocity field and so on under different optimization schemes;Finally,the temperature field,velocity field and PMV-PPD under various working conditions are compared and analyzed,so as to select the best scheme for reference.In this paper,the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of the three optimization schemes of the upper opening of the large atrium,the upper side opening of the atrium and the combination of air conditioning and ground heating are carried out.Through the analysis of the simulation results,it can be concluded that:1.The opening around the top of the atrium,the opening of the upper side wall and the opening of the middle opening on the top of the atrium can improve the thermal comfort of the original atrium under the heating condition in winter,but the first two schemes have better effects than the third one.2.The opening around the top of the atrium,the opening of the upper side wall and the opening of the middle opening at the top of the atrium not only improve the superheat of the upper air flow,but also aggravate the heat loss,resulting in a worse heating effect at the bottom of the atrium than the original model However,most of the work areas can also meet the comfort requirements.3.The combination of radiant heating on the ground and hot air heating can solve the problem of cold at the bottom of atrium and meet the comfort requirement of human head cold foot heat,and this scheme can reduce the temperature gradient of tall atrium.
