With the change of our country’s population policy-the policy of liberalizing the two-child birth in an all-round way-our country has entered the post-family-planning era.Based on the above background,I have studied the physiological and psychological characteristics of infants and young children in different stages, and compared three aspects at home and abroad, including the development history of product design, the development of developmental psychology, and product quality supervision system.Later,I found that there are many problems in the design of infant products in China.Lack of in-depth understanding of infant’s psychological and physiological characteristics leads to a large number of products affecting infant’s physical and mental health flooding the market. In terms of product quality supervision, infant products do not meet the national standards in terms of material, size, shape, and so on.Moreover, they do not meet international standards. In recent years, with the rise of e-commerce platform, the volume of online transactions has increased dramatically year by year, resulting in a large number of inferior products threatening the safety of infants and young children. At present,China’s manufacturing industry is in a special period of urgent need for transformation and upgrading. As an important category of product design, infant products have been rapidly improved in terms of design level and production quality supervision.
