Linear Switched Reluctance Motors(LSRM)have been studied and proven to be a good alternative to direct linear drive systems.In recent years,LSRM has been well applied in rail transit trains,drone electromagnetic ejection devices,deep mine hoist systems,the cordless direct-drive elevators of urban high-rise/super high-rise buildings,and urban high-rise/deep-dimensional garages.This paper aims to explore the related performances of the new Linear Switched Reluctance Motor with Segmented Secondary(LSRMSS)by theoretical analysis,simulation modeling,prototype production and performance testing.Firstly,this paper introduces the topological structure and operation principle of LSRMSS.The similarities and differences between LSRMSS and Conventional Linear Switched Reluctance Motor(CLSRM)are compared.Secondly,the equivalent reluctance network model of LSRMSS system is established.Analogous to the solution of the circuit,the magnetic permeance of each branch in the model is obtained by using the nodal magnetic potential method and combining the magnetic circuit characteristics of LSRMSS.Based on the equivalent reluctance network model,the equivalent reluctance network equations of the motor system are established.Thirdly,based on the results of the reluctance network method,a high-precision integrated hybrid dynamic simulation model of the motor is established,and the accuracy of the simulation results is compared and verified by the finite element method.In addition,the simulation model of LSRMSS system is used to explore the related problems of motor,including end effects and mutual inductance effects.Fourthly,this paper also explores the control strategy of LSRMSS motor system based on force distribution function.A new method of solving the force distribution function based on the non-linear inductance model of the motor is proposed,the LSRMSS system under the new control strategy is compared with the traditional control system by simulation.Finally,a prototype of LSRMSS is developed and an experimental platform of LSRMSS system is built.The static performance and no-load performance of the prototype are tested and the results are collected.The accuracy of the experimental results is further verified by comparing with the simulation results of finite element analysis.
