Design And Application Of Environmental Psychology In The Reading Room Of Colleges

With the constant change of the reading room mode in Colleges and universities in China,College teachers and students demands for spiritual culture are increasing.At present,the design of reading space presents a uniform trend.There is no uniqueness in the overall interior space design.It is necessary to integrate new theories and new models,reflecting that environmental awareness is a kind of modern consciousness.From the point of view of the relationship between people and environment,readers are the creators of environment and interior design environment.Different environmental forms inevitably give people different psychological feelings.When people are in a certain style of interior design environment,people’s thoughts,behaviors and emotions will change accordingly.Based on the theory of environmental psychology,this paper studies and analyzes the spatial design of the reading room of the University,and combines the user’s psychological activities with the surrounding scene environment.Based on the research on the relevant data of reading room design at home and abroad,combined with the principles of interior environment design of reading space,a series of problems in space design are analyzed.Thus,considering the psychological characteristics of teachers and students in colleges and universities to study and design to improve the environment,meet the actual use of teachers and students,make the organic combination of environment and teacher-student relations optimized,and clarify how to use environmental psychology to create a comfortable and unique indoor space environment design method.Taking Chang ’an University Reading Room as an example,the comprehensive reading room,open-frame reading room,and electronic reading room are designed and analyzed to comb the space and integrate environmental psychology factors.Mainly from the interior space organization,interior space environment,interior decoration,color collocation on the psychological implications of teachers and students and other aspects of research and application.Therefore,we can solve the problems existing in the space design of the reading room and hope that the research of this article can provide some help and reference suggestions for the interior design work of the reading room in the future.
