Study On The Evolution Of Urban Residential Space Structure And Its Driving Forces In Shenyang

The residential space is an important part of urban space.It lays an important foundation for the spatial structure of the city,also has a profound impact on the quality of residents' life.It is important to clarify the evolution mechanism of residential space,to lead orderly space expansion and to optimize space structure.As the research object,Shenyang,which is the central city in northeast China,its urban planning and functions have changed greatly since the founding of PRC,that makes the dynamic evolution of the living space of Shenyang even more spacial.On the basis of the classical western theory,China is gradually forming the embryonic form of the residential space theory,according with the characteristics of our country,which needs further demonstration and summary.Taking Shenyang as the study object and 1989-2018 as its time scale,this paper adopts the kernel density estimation,multi-distance spatial cluster analysis,standard deviation ellipse,natural break point classification,principal component analysis,multivariate linear regression analysis as well as ArcGIS mapping analysis method,combined with existing research and economic statistical data,to describe the residential space evolution,and focus on the residential form differences in existing residential space and housing segregation.Then it takes specific evolution mechanism of residential space in Shenyang.Finally,based on the absorption of research results,the main driving factors are extracted from the driving factors for statistical model analysis,and the data results are integrated with the actual situation,then it has been summarized that the mechanism of residential space expansion in Shenyang.It provides references to the scientific planning and related policiesformulation in Shenyang.The results of this paper are as follows:From 1989 to 2018,Shenyang has undergone four stages of residential space expansion which are slow development,rapid expansion,speedy expansion and stable extension.In each stage,the expansion mode,internal structure of residential space and the residential pattern have evolved gradually.(1)Overall characteristics:The residential space scope is expanding.(2)Distribution characteristics:The larger residential density consists between the first ring and the second ring.With fan-shaped characteristics,there are several secondary nuclear density centers.The expansion intensity in east-west direction is larger than the northeast-southwest direction.The two sides of the Hunhe River are distributed in axisymmetric bands.(3)Differentiation characteristics: The agglomeration phenomenon of each residential form is obvious,the distribution characteristics have large differences,and the spatial heterogeneity is becoming stronger and stronger.The main driving forces which affecting the residential space expansion in Shenyang include urban planning measure,economic strength level,population,transportation,real estate market and national policy system,and the influence sequential decrease.They are rather a complex interaction,which affects the evolution of residential space structure in Shenyang.In the past 60 years,Shenyang has completed four urban plans.In this paper,we hope to use the study of the evolution of residential space to check and summarize the planning achievements from the side,and add bricks for the next planning work in Shenyang.
