Study On The Design Of Public Facilities In Tourism Ancient Town

The ancient town tourism has became more and more popular in recent years which accompanies by the rapid development of Chinese economy,and the demand of consumers has changed that on the public facilities during their tourism,therefore improve the construction of public facilities become a key point to enhance the quality of tourism in ancient town.However,the tourism related construction was started lately and the goverument didn't pay a attention on the public facilities,thus,it has made problems which exist generally in Chinese ancient town's tourism,such as lack of public facilities and cultural characteristics,which lead to the construction of tourism is difficult to adapt the rapid development of tourism.Therefore,it is particularly urgent to discuss the design methods and processes of public facilities in ancient towns.This paper according to Qinglong Ancient Town in Taiyuan.Shanxi Province as an example,firstly,based on its natural environment,history and culture,combined with the field research,questionnaires and interviews,then analyzing the exist problems of tourism public facilities:the styles not matching,lack of good function,the cultural characteristics not obviously and few major issues.Secondly,it point out the main factors affecting the public facilities of Qinglong Ancient Town,such as natural resources,traditional architecture,culture and art.and based on these,using ergonomics and environmental psychology theory to improve the design which from modeling,color,materials,volume,the public transportation,sanitation,lighting,instructions,rest,service and safety facilities.According to improve the tourism public facilities of Qinglong Ancient Town to reaches the consumers satisfaction.Finally,further on proposing the design of tourism public facilities is conducive to improve the tourism quality of ancient towns,applying local symbol elements and color to the design of public facilities to effectively convey the connotation of ancient towns,in order to provide certain guarantees for the establishment of sound tourism public facilities in China's tourist towns on expectings.
