In the "Chinese Children’s Development Program" released around 2000 and a series of documents to promote quality education reform,the focus is on the development of children’s education.They should respect the characteristics of their physical and mental development at different ages and encourage them to "personalized learning." "The focus of learning should shift from classroom-centered to the combination of class and class.Therefore,the traditional teaching space can no longer meet the needs of primary school students on the campus space environment.With the substantial increase in the state’s investment in social education in recent years,it has provided a certain material basis for the construction of a diverse and high-quality campus space.At the actual construction level,the construction of most schools at this stage is completely in accordance with the current national construction standards,ignoring the specific demands of children on the school’s space environment under the reform of education mode,although some schools have considered the design of campus public space.However,due to the lack of planning for student behavioral activities and specific spatial subdivisions in the theoretical research,this kind of space does not play a good role.Therefore,the design research of a large number of public spaces in the teaching area remains to be explored.Through the research on the relevant materials of the public space of the teaching area,based on the in-depth analysis of the basic design elements such as the functional composition,spatial scale and combination mode of the public space,the quantitative analysis of the public space of the teaching area is completed.In terms of functional composition,based on the special psychological characteristics and behavioral patterns of primary school students,the specific functional composition of public space is explored.Through the influence of the hierarchical scale of different schools on the spatial scale of public space,the behavioral activities of specific spatial users are explored.The spatial scale of the fit;based on the actual needs of the primary school students’ behavioral activities,explore the influence of different combination modes on the spatial layout of the public space and the quality of the space environment.Through the comparative analysis of the public space of the primary school teaching area in Japan,the United States and some parts of China,the author analyzes the three types of design elements of public space in depth,and analyzes the results and field investigations of many primary schools in China.In combination,the internal relationship between the psychological and behavioral characteristics of the primary school students and the design of the public space is systematically sorted out,and the research design with certain pertinence is completed.The teaching complex of the 271 Education Group’s Xijining Haida Xingzhi School Primary School was selected as a case study.Through the analysis of the school’s educational concept and the specific needs of the public space,the adaptive design of the public space of the project teaching area was derived.The theoretical research is applied to the actual project to improve the environmental quality of the school building space at the present stage,and at the same time form a certain reference value for the theoretical research in related fields.
