Industrial boiler is an important thermal power equipment,which is widely used in the fields of factory power,building heating,and civil life.With the continuous deepening of boiler intelligent industrialization,the contradiction between boiler design requirements and design software is deepening,there have been problems such as repeatitive design of standard parts and common parts,and complicated drawing of pipeline diagrams.The commercial CAD software has been unable to meet the special needs of boiler design and manufacturing.It is imperative to expand the optimization of design software functions and develop special CAD tools for the boiler industry.This paper analyzes the development status of CAD secondary development technology at home and abroad and NX secondary development method,based on boiler industry research and enterprise specific requirements,based on NX 10.0 software and Visual Studio 2012 programming platform,comprehensively use NX/Open API,MenuScprit,Block UI Development tools such as Styler,combined with ODBC database access technology,have developed a series of design tools for the boiler industry.This paper describes the NX secondary development technology,it mainly introduces three NX secondary development tools involved in this article:NX/Open API,Blcok UI Styler and MenuScript,and explains the complete development process of NX.Researched on external data access technology,the combination of NX/Open API and ODBC technology has improved the steel warehouse for boiler steel structure of the research group and completed the development of boiler flange standard parts library,the development of common symbol library of boiler pipeline is completed,ensuring the automatic generation of component specification list meanwhile drawing the pipeline schematic diagram,which improves the design efficiency.Combined with the design features of typical parts,the program development of the boiler convection tube bank components is completed,the main structural parameters are extracted,and the automatic parametric modeling of the components is realized;We studied the development of the secondary development of NX form BOM system,according to business needs and the resulting design NX assembly tree structure,the traversal algorithm design at a large multi-level assembly automatically generated BOM table.The above boiler series design tools are seamlessly integrated into the NX system using MenuScript and Block UI Styler technologies to form a complete framework and maintain a unified system style for user convenience.The boiler three-dimensional design system effectively solve the problems of repeated design of standard parts and common deformed parts,difficulty in drawing boiler piping diagrams,time-consuming BOM production,and greatly improve boiler design efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.The project has a complete NX development process,involving key technologies such as modeling,drawing,and assembly in NX secondary development,and combining database access technology with NX program development,laying the foundation for more comprehensive application of 3D design in the boiler industry.It also provides an empirical reference for secondary development of NX in other industries.
