In the process of automobile cover parts die design, using standard parts can improvemould standardization, avoid duplication of three-dimensional modeling, shorten the designcycle. Although traditional standard parts library system can achieve the production ofstandard parts and assembly, but its compatibility is so poor that it only support a particularenterprise standard. A few system provide expansion capacity, but its expansion mode is sostrict that it must be carried out accordance with the original mode.Thus it cannot meet thedesign requirements. On the other hand, traditional standard parts library system does notstore nor record standard attribute information. So it has to record all parts attributeinformation, which would greatly reduce the efficiency of die design and increase errors.Therefore the implementation of a compatible standard parts library system which couldassemble standard parts efficiency and accurately is very necessary.With the sufficient understanding of automobile panel die design process, paper has adetailed summary about the application of standard parts library system, and develop astandard parts library system NSPL (NET STANDARD PART LIBRARY) based on C/Snetwork, in view of the problems of poor compatibility, disordered management. NSPLsystem not only implements the production and assembly of standard parts, but alsoachieves resource sharing and collaborative design, which is convenient to manage standardparts library.User-defined Excel spreadsheet has been adopted in paper, which simplifies theparameter data entry. Using parametric modeling technology to generate standard model.The application of multi-way tree which is very convenient for the user to query, modify,add and delete non-parameter standard parts library.By analyzing the standard attribute information between the network standard partssystem and BOM system, put forward the attribute parametric technology, which can automatically obtain and check the standard attribute, avoid the repeated operation byproviding the data source for BOM table.Finally, based the theoretical research, the frame structure and implement process ofselection module, creation module and location module are described in paper. And anapplication example is given.
