As a tool of the new era,automobiles have been favored by consumers from consumer till now,but inevitably accompanied by traffic accidents.A large number of accident studies have shown that improving vehicle crash performance can reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents,greatly reduce the harm to drivers and passengers,and vehicle crash safety performance has gradually entered the academic field of researchers.Although the effect of the initial vehicle experiment is remarkable,the cost is too high and the experimental period is too long.The main means of studying the collision performance have been changed into the auxiliary means of studying.With the rapid development of information technology,CAE industry has stepped onto the stage of history.Using computer simulation technology,we can directly simulate the vehicle collision in the early design stage,find the weaknesses in the automobile structure more intuitively,modify the parameters of relevant components directly in the software,and verify them by real vehicle experiments,thus shortening the test cycle of the project with low cost.This paper takes a domestic C-class car as the research object,simplifies the whole vehicle mathematical model,uses ANSA and other pre-processing software,and carries on the meshing of the whole vehicle with reference to the finite element modeling standard;Selecting the appropriate attributes and materials for each part and simulate the real connection relationship;Setting boundary conditions such as initial collision velocity and wall barrier under different working conditions;The output parameter control is set up to establish the vehicle crash simulation model under three working conditions;The vehicle crash model is calculated and analyzed by LS-DYNA explicit dynamic analysis software.The accuracy of the initial calculation model is verified by comparing the collision shape of the whole vehicle with that of the experiment and the proportion of the energy curve;According to the local deformation of the collision animation,the acceleration curve of the B-pillar,the amount of door intrusion and the speed of intrusion,the whole vehicle structure is analyzed.Through the analysis of the weak link of energy absorption,the possible problems in the body structure are found,and then the optimization scheme is put forward.In the optimization link,the main component of energy absorption,the front longitudinal beam,is found through the energy proportion.The energy absorption characteristics and stability of the front longitudinal beam are analyzed,and the mathematical model between the induced groove parameters and the impact moment is obtained.Then the simplified model of the longitudinal beam subsystem is preliminarily verified.This optimization process is better than the traditional optimization design in terms of calculation time,and provides a new optimization method for designers in terms of Engineering projects.This round of optimization achieves good results in 100% energy absorption of the front longitudinal beam,improves the safety performance of offset collision condition,and also improves the items that have reached the standard.The purpose of this paper is to study the deformation regular of automobile structure in collision,the aims of the paper is expounding the condition of vehicle frontal collision and side collision,providing reference for other models and working conditions.
