In recent years,the development speed of China's power grid has been accelerating,and the number of substations has increased dramatically.Monitoring the operation status of a large number of substations has brought great pressure and challenges to the substation staff,and the manual monitoring is affected by various uncertain factors such as the environment and personal status,which intensifies the unsafeness of substation monitoring.The substation intelligent inspection robot can monitor the substation in real time,and the system works stably and reliably,which can greatly alleviate the working pressure of substation monitoring and improve the reliability of monitoring.Based on this,this paper discusses in detail the application of intelligent inspection robots in substations,introducess the developments history of inspection robots technologys,and the feasibility of its actual operations at the substations sites.Through the researches on the intelligents inspections robots,the overall system framework,softwares controled systems,bases stations systems and mobile stations systems in the robot inspection system are expounded.The equipment pattern recognition of the substation-based robot inspection system is carried out from the aspects of establishing equipment picture database,real-time matching and detection identification,picture matching and output,and all-weather identification.By expounding the related principles and methods of the sound recognition system,the sound collection of the substation equipment is analyzed in detail,and it can be known that the sound recognition technology can effectively identify the abnormality in the transformer or the high-resistance equipment.Combined with the above,the application effect of the intelligent robot inspection system is analyzed.It is found that the robot greatly reduces the occurrence of major accidents and reduces the economic loss of the substation.The use of inspections robots may improved the qualities of equipments inspection works,and can effectively reduce the work risks and labor intensity of substation workers,and has certain use value.
