An important cause of foot ulcers in diabetic patients is an increase in plantar pressure,with a correlation of 70% to 90%.This requires patients to collect the distribution data of plantar pressure in the early stage of the disease,and then scientifically and objectively evaluate their health status,and take targeted treatment measures to control the disease and reduce the incidence of diabetic foot and amputation.This will not only improve the quality of life of people with diabetes,but also reduces the enormous financial burden on the patient's family.This subject research and develop a foot pressure monitoring App for diabetic patients,its monitoring equipment is integrated on the household weight scale,while measuring the weight,it can also monitor the distribution of plantar pressure.The pressure sensing system is connected with the mobile phone by connecting the single-chip control circuit of the Bluetooth module and the application of the mobile terminal.The App can realize Bluetooth acquisition and transmission of the pressure data of the foot,data storage and display history curve,and push knowledge of diabetes foot care.The monitoring device uses the communication function of the mobile phone to share the data information with the patient's family and doctors,which not only provides the patient with self-test basis,but also provides a diagnosis basis for the doctor.The research topics mainly include:(1)Design of plantar pressure monitoring sensorThrough the investigation of commonly used pressure sensors,the advantages and disadvantages of the pressure sensors were analyzed,and the pressure sensor components in this study were selected: piezoresistive film pressure sensors.The specific distribution scheme of the sensor was designed according to the joint point of the diabetic patient who is most prone to ulceration.Corresponding to the human foot thumb,the first metatarsal to the fifth metatarsal and the heel position.(2)Hardware designThrough the master control chip STM32F103RCT6 total control and the design of each unit circuit(lithium battery power supply circuit,power supply circuit,switch circuit,signal conditioning circuit,analog-to-digital conversion circuit,communication circuit and download debugging circuit,etc.)to achieve the pressure data of the sole Acquisition,conditioning,conversion,and output.(3)Software design of pressure measurement systemOn the basis of sufficient user demand research,the design and development of a foot pressure monitoring App for diabetic patients with foot pressure monitoring hardware equipment,through the App to achieve Bluetooth transmission of foot pressure data and data information and doctors,Sharing of family members.(4)Making and lofting of the sole plateA shoe sole for the test system was designed and manufactured to accurately calibrate the points where the ulcers of the diabetic patients are most prone to ulceration.Based on this,the lofting is performed to suit the testers of different foot codes.(5)Experimental testSystem stability testing and data reliability testing were performed separately.The purpose of the system stability test is to confirm that the hardware,software and functions can operate normally and stably according to the design;the data reliability test is compared with the data measured by the Footscan foot pressure tester,and the correlation analysis is performed to verify the development.Reliability of hardware system data.Research resultIn this study,a foot pressure monitoring system was developed for diabetic patients,and it was integrated into a household weight scale.Based on the single-chip microcomputer and Bluetooth technology,the Bluetooth method of foot pressure data was acquired and transmitted.Through the App developed in this research,users can directly and conveniently understand their own plantar pressure conditions through the mobile phone,and can analyze and store the plantar pressure data,and send relevant information to professionals to take appropriate measures and treatment measures.
