The wide application and development of new media technologies has promoted the promotion of museum navigation tools, which provides a possibility for visitors to use a variety of new technologies to achieve a rich experience. However,we found that the navigation effect of the existing museum navigation equipment is not ideal, which cannot meet the emotional needs of tourists and there is a separation between tourists and display information. This paper starts from the perspective of the existing navigation effect of domestic museums, visitors' guiding experience, and integration of various information in the augmented reality. We getadvantages.disadvantages and optimization directions of the existing museum navigation programs by the analysis and evaluation, namely appearance and function. In the research process, relying on the actual case of Shanghai Lacquer Art Museum, based on the two kinds of augmented reality technologyapplication, with or without pattern of identifying cards. We write program based on the demand experience of tourists in the museum for different exhibits in the museum.Anddo corresponding test evaluation to verify its effectiveness, then the museum navigation equipment is designed based on the product design and user psychology theory, and the design scheme is evaluated to select the optimal solution. We optimize and broaden the appearance and function of the museum guiding equipment which belong to small and professional museum, built a relatively complete museum augmented reality navigation optimization strategy, and the evaluation results also prove that the optimization strategy can enhance the tourist navigation experience, shorten the steps for tourists to get navigation information and solve the problem of dimensional gap between tourists and exhibits. This optimization strategy can be a reference direction and basis for the development of museum navigation equipment.
