Campus Guide Service Product Design Based On Augmented Reality Technology

As an important part of people’s life in guiding,explaining,and instructing,the important part of building style and shaping culture in public space,the guiding system has always played an important role in our lives.With the rapid development of the social economy,various infrastructures around the people’s living environment are constantly upgrading.From the trend,this phenomenon of "urban metabolism" will only expand more quickly and irregularly.The guide system must be highly matched with the ever-changing building facilities.The manpower and material resources it consumes can be imagined to be enormous.This is not consistent with the concept of "green design for sustainable development"that we have always advocated.The development of colleges and universities is also inseparable from the construction and upgrading of infrastructure.The renewed changes in school building facilities and the transformation of surrounding environmental facilities make it difficult to unify and match the campus guidance system with the campus environment.These conditions have,to some extent,made it increasingly complicated and inefficient for people to work,study,and access information on campus.Augmented Reality(AR)is a research hotspot in the field of computer digital products in recent years.It can combine computer-generated virtual digital information with real-life scenes and present them on display devices.This kind of virtual reality combination not only allows the user to perceive the information in the real world,but also senses the virtual information outside the real world at the same time.With the development and popularization of computer technology,augmented reality technology has also shifted from military and medical science to entertainment,culture,and tourism.This article combines the concept and content of augmented reality and guidance system,and proposes to present the guidance information in mobile terminal in a digital way,and conducts practical exploration of digital guided product based on AR.This article first summarizes the development process and status quo of the domestic and foreign sight-seeing systems,and analyzes the features and elements of the digital guidance system from specific cases.Then starting from the overview of the domestic campus guidance system,summed up the deficiencies,and from a typical case analysis of the main elements of the campus guidance system.Finally,taking the northern campus of Hunan Normal University as an example,this paper proposes the improvement of the general problems existing in the school’s guidance system based on augmented reality technology,and summarizes the problems existing in the guidance system of the North Campus of Hunan Normal University through analyzing the current situation.Combining the results of the questionnaires and sampling analysis of the target user groups,a visual solution is proposed.The innovations of this article are:1.Combining augmented reality technology with campus guides,making use of the advantages of the mobile Internet to make school teachers and students work,study,and life more convenient.Secondly,to provide guidance to users while providing guidance to users.More valuable information services provide a platform for teachers and students of all colleges to communicate and help each other.They use the diversity of human-computer interaction in augmented reality to provide users with a better interactive experience.Third,the use of mobile Internet is easy to spread,Permeability,promote and disseminate campus brand through campus guide service products.
