Reaearch On Strategy For Landscape Planning And Design And Exploit Of River Island Of Pearl River In Guangzhou

River island is a kind of sandy land which is located in rivers.It is caused by sand sediments and surrounded by water,whose overall state and geological condition are relatively stable.During the average water season,River island is much higher than the surface of the water.As it is surrounded by water and nutrient substance is periodically supplied,River island is often used for agricultural production in early society.In modern society,urban land expands rapidly and the land of Binjiang District can not meet the need of urban development.In this case,River island catches the attention of governments and developers.It has a special geographical position and abundant resources of ecology and landscape.However there are also some problems,like ecological sensitivity,morphological instability and periodical change,and so on.At home and abroad,some River island have already been exploited and used for urban tourism,urban leisure,terminal construction,warehouse land,water conservancy projects and ecological conser vation,and so on.Whereas a majority of River island still grow in natural state,which are in the face of exploitation and reconstruction.The article studies 54 River island of Pearl Rivers in Guangzhou.Also it analyzes and reorganizes their general information.These River island is abundant in landscape resources.They have excellent natural scenery,many historical sites,strong water village atmosphere and remarkable industrial civilization.But these River island have single function and inaccurate positioning.The strength of urban development and urban construction don’t match abundant resource quantity and resource type.So facing the further exploitation and utilization,traffic condition need to be further improved.To answer this question,the article puts forward three utilization patterns of ecological type,manufacturing type and synthesizing type based on ecological environmental protection.Ecological type River island persists in ecological protection and comes up with three utilizing strategies.Such as,ecological conservation,ecological tourism and ecological leisure.Manufacturing type River island utilizes port base and industrial parks these two strategies to promote the urban economic development and industrial progress.Main features of synthesizing type River island are comprehensive functions and high-degree exploitation.However the article suggests Guangzhou not to exploit new synthesizing type River island owing to the basic principle of ecology,but to make optimization and improvement of function and landscape for the type.After formulating reasonable utilizing strategies,the article continues to do in-depth studies about River island.Then it insists that the landscape planning and design of River island should start by improving transportation system,which includes increasing external transportation facilities,organizing internal network and improving transportation system.Next the article talks about creating stable topographic condition for River island and using flexible landscape design methods to guarantee the stability of River island and security of human activity,which conforms to change rules of rivers.In the end,formulating vivid features is also necessary.To bring its economic value,social value and ecolo gical value into full play,River island needs accurate and reasonable function positioning,which should adapt to the natural environment,continue historical context and reflect regional culture.
