Investigation And Analysis On The Application Of Garden Ornaments In Modern Static Artificial Waterscape In Guangzhou Area

In the design of modern landscape architecture,people have increasingly high demands for quality of the static waterscape;by contrast,the study on application of static artificial waterscape has not kept up with the demand of urban development.In the static water landscape,one core element reflecting its quality lies in static waterscape.In this paper,taking the ornaments in the artificial static water landscape as a starting point,the author attempts to explore its application rules and design methods,providing helpful references for improving the quality of static water landscape.Based on relevant literatures and field researches,this paper focuses on the study from the following aspects: 1.Whether the static water landscape should be emphasized in the modern city;2.How to define static waterscape and dynamic waterscape;3.What are differences between static water ornaments and others in the garden;4.What are basic properties of static waterscape in Guangzhou area;5.In what way the static waterscape is different when being used for different kinds of garden;6.From what aspects the static waterscape is used for constructing the static waterscape in the modern urban landscape architecture.Based on the above questions,this paper probes into the spatial artistic forms of the ornaments in the artificial static water landscape and analyzes their application in gardens.Through the dimensional deconstruction of the static water landscape,an analysis of the spatial morphology and landscape value is also made about the ornaments in the static water landscape.Through the investigation on different kinds of static water landscape in Guangzhou and its surrounding regions and the quantitative analysis conducted in combination with relevant theoretical knowledge from spatial pattern,proportion and artistic form of garden ornaments,it is concluded that,in the static water landscapes in Guangzhou and its surrounding regions,the hybrid combination reaches the highest proportion for the spatial pattern of ornaments,accounting for 36%.In addition,the average ratio of the sketch element to the water surface in the visual plane is 1.3.In terms of the artistic form proportion of static water ornament,the natural ecology type has the higher proportion in the urban parks,accounting for about 58%,while the folk culture,fashion and technology account for about 28%.In terms of cultural attributes,elements of human art account for about 55%,and elements of non-human art about 96%.Through the statistical analysis of the data,some problems exist in the application of ornaments in the modern static water landscape,like the vague theme,improper space arrangement,deficient humanistic appeal,lack of follow-up management,and improper handling of details,etc.Finally,on the basis of combining theories with practice,four principles are put forward: applicability principle,artistic quality principle,emotionality principle and principle of timeliness.For the problems existing in the application of artificial static waterscape in the modern landscape architecture,the corresponding design strategies are put forward: 1.tightly centering on the theme of landscape space;2.harmonizing with the surrounding environment;3.emphasizing visual communication;4.strengthening the humanistic appeal;5.paying attention to the details disposal.
