Sustainability Research In Artificial Waterscape Design Of Our Cities

With the development of the city, the important landscape elements of the water were applied to the living environment of people, and use the water to creat environmental space, these practices has been widely used in urban landscape. In recent years, the enthusiasm of the waterscape construction continue to rise in our city, however in, at the same time, many problems were appeared. Because of the shortage of water resources and the damage of natural water restricted the normal development of the waterscape, and the limitation of waterscape design, and the adverseness of waterscape maintenance, make waterscape diffcult to realize the sustainable development in our country.Combined with examples, this article analysed the sustainability of the existing main issue, and the author attempt to find solutions stand in the designer's Angle. AT first, the article briefly introduced some basic concepts about waterscape design, including sustainable development.The emphasis of the essay divided into two parts:question and answer.Question:the existing main problems about waterscape is unable to achieve sustainable running in our city, the main reasons were the source of water and the quality of water.Answer:the whole idea of the article is how to use design to solve the problems that the quality of water and the source of water,and join the concept of sustainable development to waterscape design, emphasis standing in the designer's Angle. Firstly, to solve the problem that the source of water designers consider using the idea of " increase income and reduce expenditure", and going on " Multi-channel water-design " and "water-saving design". Secondly, to solve the problem that the quality of water designers consider designing natural waterscape system, and by using design to guide scientific water purification measures.In fact, the last part of the article is the"answer" contine, propose some other suggestions standing in a more macroscopic perspective. Because of wide range and complicated circumstances, it is not simply only design, such as government policy, management and maintenance, science and technology, etc. All of these factors should not be ignored.Solve this waterscape sustainability issue, design is the key, it can provide possiablility to the sustainable development of waterscape. Only let the thinking of sustainability in-depth design, can realize the sustainable development of waterscape. Urban waterscape design needs a kind of creativity that combination of art and design, social insight and technology of water treatment. Thus make waterscape design more efficient, more environmental, more convenient, more harmonious, more beautiful and more humane. Nowadays,people pay attention to the harmonious development of man and environment and focuse on urban integral environment, we believe the design of sustainable waterscape will play an important role that improvement of the environmental quality and promotion of the cultural grage.
