The rapid development of science and technology has led to the widespread application of automated commercial machinery.As one of the commercial automation equipment,vending machines has brought great convenience to people’s life.At present,although the form of vending machine is variety,what the drinks vending machine sells are bottled mineral water,beverages,etc.And,as for the milk tea,which is popular among consumers as casual drinks,it is still in the stage of artificial deployment at present.Focusing on the above phenomenon,combining with the characteristics of vending machine and casual drinks,a set of system of intelligent drinks dispensing vending machine is developed by using automation-related technology in this paper,which can realize the mechanical automation of beverage dispensing process.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)An intelligent drinks dispensing vending machine system device was designed and developed.The main research work is as follows: the planar joint manipulator was designed which could achieve the clamping of the drink cup and send the drink cup to the corresponding working position in the whole drinks dispensing process;the automatic filling module for drink puree was designed which could achieve the quantitative filling of different drink puree;the drink delivery tray and the electric rotary connecting mechanism were designed which could complete the automatic transmission of the prepared drinks.(2)The driving device and transmission device of the self-developed plane joint manipulator were reasonably selected according to the actual situation of the system.And the finite element analysis of the manipulator arm and the forearm was analyzed using Simulation system embedding SolidEdge software to ensure that the manipulator has sufficient strength and stiffness.(3)The automatic filling module of beverage puree and transmission platform module were correspondingly analyzed and designed.The storage container of drink puree and liquid solenoid valve were selected with the actual demand.The quantitative filling theoretical function was established based on the flow correlation theory,and it is verified by the experimental data.The structure of the automatic drink transmission platform was designed and the driving device of that is selected.(4)The experimental platform of motion control system was builted based on programmable logic controller(PLC).The control system architecture was designed according to the selected main controller,and the control components were selected combined with the control system required.The control circuit of system was designed and the software program of the entire system workflow was written.Finally,the upper computer part of vending machine system for intelligent drinks dispensing was designed from three aspects: purchase process,mobile payment part,data statistics and management of backstage.At the same time,the completed work was summarized.The problems of the system in the current stage and the improvement direction of further work were pointed out.
