Electroosmosis method has the advantages of fast reinforcement and high safety when consolidating soft clay.Its drainage consolidation process has nothing to do with permeability coefficient,so it can be used to deal with soft clay with high compressibility,low permeability coefficient and fine particle.In recent years,extensive electroosmotic research is often limited to one-dimensional electroosmotic tests of single electrodes under indoor conditions,but there are various electrodes arrays in actual engineering.Therefore,it is necessary to further study from the perspective of electrode spacing.This paper summarizes the research status of electroosmosis and introduces the microscopic mechanism and strengthening principle of electroosmosis.The experimental study of multi-electrode electroosmotic tests and electrochemical grouting tests in soft clay in Yingkou area of Liaoning was carried out by a test device.And discussing the effect of multi-electrode electroosmosis strengthen soft clay,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the popularization and engineering application of electroosmosis.The major work contents and research production are shown as follows:First,three groups of multi-electrode electroosmotic tests were carried out.Under the test conditions of different electrode spacing ratios and different power voltage and different model sizes,recording various physical parameters.And the regular curves of physical parameters such as current,drainage,energy consumption with time;According to the relationship between energy consumption and drainage calculates the energy consumption coefficients curves;Fitting the relationship curves between temperature and current by analyzing the influence factors of electroosmotic drainage;Calculating the corrosion weight of anodes after tests,recording the crack of the soil in the whole process of tests;The water content and bearing capacity of soil are also measured after tests,the influence of various parameters on the reinforcement effect of soft clay is analyzed.The test results show that the multi-electrode electroosmotic tests can achieve good reinforcement effect when selecting the power voltage is 30V and ratio is 0.75 between the same electrode spacing and the opposite electrode spacing.On the basis of electroosmosis test,three groups of electrochemical grouting tests were carried out,which injecting calcium chloride or sodium silicate solution into the soil and comparing with the electroosmosis test under the same conditions in terms of displacement,energy consumption,carrying capacity and crack development.The test results show that the drainage was reduced,the energy consumption was increased,but the bearing capacity was improved and uniform distribution of the electrochemical grouting tests;The injection of water glass solution can reduce the formation of cracks;Soil cracks were filled by water cement ratio of 0.38~0.43 cement after the electroosmosis and electrochemical tests,the test results show that the method can effectively fill the cracks and improve the overall performance of the reinforced soil.From the perspectives of ion migration,salt precipitation and soil cementation,proving the mechanism of improving the bearing capacity of soil by electrochemical grouting,and determining the best grouting scheme.
