| The advent of China’s high-speed rail(HSR)network has greatly reduced the space-time distance between the tourist market and destination city,and travel by HSR has been normal.However,the “space-time compression” effect produced by HSR can be weakened by the unreasonable connection system of HSR.The issue of “the last kilometer” of travel by HSR has become a hot topic in academic circles.The requirement of connection system of HSR,such as “zero distance transfer and seamless connection”,has drawn much attention in public.In this context,taking the Yangtze River Economic Belt as a case,referring from related theories of tourism,transportation,urban,planning and geography,this paper uses the research technology of Arcgis,PS and SPSS to analyse spatial differentiation and optimization of connection system of HSR for urban tourism in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.What’s more,this article can enrich the research field of connection system of HSR,and further develop the research contents in tourism geography,traffic geography,urban geography and urban planning,and so on.This paper focuses on the spatial differentiation characteristics of connection system of HSR for urban tourism in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,the spatial pattern of urban tourism under the connection system of HSR,the matching degree of supply and demand of connection system of HSR and its impact mechanism,and optimization modes of connection system of HSR in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The study found:(1)Through constructing the evaluation index system of connection system of HSR for urban tourism,connection system of HSR for urban tourism can be classified into four categories in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,such as the extrem large type,large type,less large type and general type.The distribution characteristic of connection system of HSR for urban tourism is higher in the north and lower in the south,and higher in the middle and lower in the edge in east-west direction.Also,the areas of high comprehensive ability are all located in five major urban agglomerations.Moreover,there is an obvious “core-periphery” structure on the small scale.Shanghai,Wuhan and Chongqing are the core cities of the eastern,central and western regions respectively.The factors resulting in various scales of connection system of HSR for urban tourism are different.(2)Under different connection systems of HSR for urban tourism,the accessibility of interior and exterior attractions is obviously deteriorated.The degree of quickness-convenience of attractions under the extrem large and large type is higher than that under the less large type.Areas of “first stop” that tourists arrive at are most located in the city center,HSR stations and well-known attractions.Moreover,the areas of “first stop” shows significant agglomeration under the extrem large,and significant dispersion under the less large type.Attractions of “first stop” show obvious agglomeration under different connecting vehicles of HSR.In addition,attractions of “first stop” are generally located in the city center by subway or bus directly,while ones are generally located far from the city center by taxi or after transferring.Attractions of “first stop” that are popular deviate from ones that has high accessibility.At lase,from the point of the time and expense,subway has the evident advantage compared with other modes of transportation.(3)This paper constructs the satisfaction model of different connection systems of HSR for urban tourism,and studies the factors affecting the matching degree of supply and demand of connection system of HSR for urban tourism.Moreover,the paper puts forward the mechanism from the level of demand,supply and decision-making.The demand factors such as age,income,occupation,number of tourists,stay of length,type of tourism organization and city,the supply factors such as internal and external accessibility of attractions,urban strength,tourism resource endowment,type of HSR hub,type of connecting public transport and time of walking time,and the decision-making factors such as time of connecting,number of transferring,internal and external connecting modes of transport all have a significant impact on connection system of HSR for urban tourism.(4)From the perspective of core-periphery,supply-demand and stratum structure,this paper proposes optimized modes of different connection systems of HSR for urban tourism in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. |
