Building Information Model(BIM)refers to the three or more dimensions'building model based on information data,which facilitates achievement of project objectives.BIM originated in America's engineering field in the 1980s,and was formally introduced into China in 2011,bringing significant changes to China's engineering projects.As the earliest to take on BIM work among project participants,architecture institutes play the leading role in this technology revolution.Since the development of management cannot keep up with the progress of technology,architecture institutes have encountered some obstacles when applying BIM.Therefore,it is imperative to improve the management mode of BIM projects.During my internship in an architecture institute,I discovered some problems of BIM application,for instance,the division of labor between design and construction is unreasonable,and the fixed price contract lacks incentive effect.To solve these problems,relevant theories of the project management mode were researched firstly,and the organization structure of Partnering DB mode is designed.Combining the Design-Build(DB)mode and the Partnering mode,Partnering DB mode is suitable for the BIM project.Then,relevant theories of income distribution among participants were researched,and the income distribution method according to contribution is designed.Based on the Shapley Mode,the Cobb-Douglas Production Function,the Boxed Pig Game and the problems of BIM application in architecture institutes,the income distribution method includes four secondary dimensions:level of technology,strength of enterprises,assumption of risk,input of costs.Thirdly,the In-depth interview and data analysis were implemented,and Partnering DB mode's organization structure and income distribution method were proved,and improved in terms of the neutral third party's coordination level,the project team's division,and the income distribution's indicators.This thesis theoretically solves the application problems of BIM in architecture institutes,such as,the unreasonable division of labor between design and construction,the fixed price contract lacks incentive effect,and so on.Finally,suggestions from four aspects are put forward:the project management mode(organization structure and income distribution method),the interior of architecture institutes,the employer and the national policies.The organization structure and income distribution method of Partnership DB mode,proposed in this thesis,benefit the improvement of BIM application level in architecture institutes,and consequently accelerate the promotion of BIM in domestic engineering field.
