Energy shortages and climate change have posed a major threat to economic development and human survival,and many countries are actively exploring new models of economic development to mitigate the adverse effects of climate crises.In this context,low-carbon economy was put forward,as a pillar industry of China's national economic development,the construction industry has an irreplaceable role in the whole process of economic development.And as a large energy-consuming industry,it's an important research topic that how to deal with the challenges of low-carbon economic development to establish the construction industry development model to form its own competitive advantage.Therefore,under the current of low-carbon economic development,it's very important to analysis the formation mechanism and influencing factors of low-carbon competitiveness of the construction industry.On the basis of elaborating the research background,meaning,content,method,thought and structure arrangement,this thesis first uses the self-organization theory to expound the evolution mechanism of low-carbon competitiveness of the construction industry,and studies the self-organization operation dynamic mechanism of low carbon competitiveness system in construction industry,including the power source and mechanism.Then,the evolutionary game theory,numerical simulation analysis and Lotka-Volterra model are used to further research its formation mechanism.The results show that the environmental regulation of government and public environmental supervision are beneficial to low-carbon production.While it's also an important reason for low-carbon production that construction companies reduce the costs of low-carbon production by low-carbon R&D.Finally,we use the panel data of the 30 provinces and cities in China from 2005 to 2014 to carry out the empirical analysis of the whole and sub-regions.The results show that we can significantly reduce the carbon productivity and improve the output margin by increasing the intensity of environmental regulation and the investment in low-carbon R&D,following improving the low carbon competitiveness of the construction industry.In addition,it's found that different measures should be taken to effectively improve the low carbon competitiveness of the construction industry in each region through the empirical analysis of the eastern,central and western regions:the eastern region should take into account environmental regulation and low carbon R&D investment,and slightly heavier environmental regulation;the central region should focus on increasing investment in low-carbon R&D,while paying attention to increase its GDP;the western region should focus on the implementation of environmental regulation,while paying attention to enrich its construction labor resources.
