When earthquake occurred,the main reason for destruction of cross-fault pipeline is the fault movement.However,the research on seismic measures of cross-fault pipeline was less.Hence,specific seismic measure was designed in this paper.The movement of dip-slip fault was resisted by this measure.The main research work was as follows:Based on the feature of fault movement and rupture of pipe,the isolation device resists the movement for pipeline was proposed.The device was not only can resist horizontal fault movement,but also can resist some vertical fault movement.The way how the isolation device influences pipe was studied by numerical simulation under earthquake waves contain dip-slip component.Spring stiffness and damping was analysed.The variable-spring system was importantly analysed.The best way for the combination of spring was determined,so it can be used for the design of measure as guidance.Isolation device was designed in detail.The isolation device consists of vibration isolator and the ground slide.Vibration isolator was designed by “Mechanical Design Manual Offprints Spring Friction Wheel and Screw Transmission Shaft” and “GB50463-2008 Code for Design of Vibration Isolation”.The ground slide was designed by elastic foundation beam.The model of cross-fault pipe with isolation device and the model of buried cross-fault pipe were considered.The two models under three kinds of earthquake waves were analysed.From the results,the device whether play an anti-seismic role for pipeline was decided.Based on the isolated pipe was influenced by many factors.The way how the factors influence was studied by numerical simulation.Ifluences of the type of fault and the friction between H-beam and ground slide and the stagger of fault and the angle between fault and pipe were researched.
