With the continuous advancement of China's urbanization and the increasing demand of urban construction,the development of ultra-high steel structure building is imperative.With its lump sum construction method,strong industrialization characteristic and light quality and high strength advantage,the ultra-high steel structure can not only realize green construction,greatly improve the engineering quality and safety technical standard,but also greatly improve the working performance and using quality of the building,and enhance the seismic performance of the structure.Under the background of fierce competition in the construction industry,construction enterprises must constantly improve their technology and management level of building ultra-high steel structure,and promote progress management;Manage the project schedule before implementation;In the process of implementation,correct deviation of progress plan according to the actual situation of the project,fully consider the actual situation of the project,provide extract targeted and practical corrective measures.This paper first summarizes the project progress management theory by consulting the progress management literature.Then,base on the actual situation of S ultra-high steel structure project,study the progress management of S ultra-high steel structure project was studied,and analy the progress management ofS ultra-high project was qualitatively and auantitatively.That is to find out the critical path through WBS,gantt chart and network model.The improved earned value analysis method is used to analyze and optimize the project and establish the schedule plan guarantee system.And make dynamic adjustment to the project progress management plan based on project quality and qualification to ensure the realization of the project progress planning goal.This paper takes S ultra-high steel structure project as an example to completely demonstrate the process of progress planning and control of S ultra-high steel structure project.Analyze the actual project through the management tool and apply the theory to the practical work.The research results are of great significance to the improvement of construction management level and the competitiveness of construction enterprises.
